Hi everyone!

I had an awesome time at CamCon in Cambridge, last Saturday - massive round of applause to Ziggy (Zonic) and helpers for pulling it off!
As some of you know from me writing about being nervous about it - it was the first time I've had an artists alley type table at a convention. (I was especially nervous because the last time I tried showing my artwork it was a disaster - I got to the venue and they had no record of me attending! D:  ) an experience like my previous one is enough to make anyone nervous, but you'll be pleased to know that this was very organised and without a hitch - the dealers room was very cosy, but that only meant we got to meet more awesome people like:
Kel Winser, C.L.Gristwood & Terry Martin amongst others. The artists and dealers present were a nice mixture of styles and trades : )

Dave, bless him, sat with me through the whole thing and took it all in his stride, considering it was his first convention : )

I learned a lot - it was so interesting to see what people were interested in buying. I certainly sold a lot more cute/cartoon style work than my 'usual' style. I'm getting an impression that it helps if you have an active comic going so you can talk to people about your story and characters. I also learned a bit about things I might not worry about next time, and things that I will have for next time. One of the things is keeping an accurate record of what you have sold. I planned to but it got abandoned quite early on! Which meant when I was adding up the next day it was inaccurate (I could tell how many postcards and badges I'd sold separately, but not packaged together which was something I was offering.) However I think I approximately made my table cost back, which i'm told is pretty good so i am pleased.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table and chatted to me, I really enjoyed it and hope to do another table at an event soon!

I'll be re-opening and adding new items to my Etsy shop over the next few days.
